A Non-Exclusive License will enable each manufacturer to:
  • Integrate a chipset into set-top boxes and digital video recorders

  • Enable both MSOs and Market Research firms to gather audience measurement and viewer behavior data for significantly larger sampling of demographic categories

  • Activate/deactivate chipset remotely

The Exclusive Licensee will have the requisite technology to establish proprietary products for distribution by MSOs to the exclusion of all competing box manufacturers.

Information Distribution and Cable Industry Services
A Non-Exclusive License will enable each service provider to:
  • Integrate the patented technology into existing and new products and services

  • Establish joint initiative with MSOs in order to gather more reliable data
  • Design audience measurement data feeds for market research firms

The Exclusive Licensee will have the requisite technology to establish proprietary products and services for TV and cable industry, advertisers and media buyers to the exclusion of all competitors.

Market Research
A Non-Exclusive License will enable each Market Research firm to:
  • Establish joint initiatives with MSOs to secure data feeds

  • Design market-specific (DMA) sampling

  • Achieve local and regional balanced sample size

  • Narrow demographic monitoring for advertiser-specific needs

The Exclusive Licensee will have the state-of-the-art technology to establish proprietary market research and ratings for the entire TV & cable industry, advertisers and media buyers.

Advertising & Media Buyers
A Non-Exclusive License will enable each advertising and media buying firm
to:
  • Develop analytics to support media buying decisions and track effectiveness
The Exclusive Licensee will have the capability to develop and deploy:
  • Proprietary analytics to enable media buying decisions and track effectiveness
